ABOUT
Kudu Cottage is set in the bush on the Hoespruit Wildlife Estate in Limpopo, this small luxurious lodge is a wonderful place to relax, yet is close to all amenities. You can spend your day by the pool watching the birds and wildlife or you can go for a game drive or bush walk. The town of Hoedspruit is 7 km from the lodge and has excellent restaurants and pubs.
Tours
There are many Tour Operators in the area that you may utilize if you are wanting to do tours of the area or the Kruger National Park.
Interesting things to do:
Visit Jessica the Hippo and experience feeding a full grown Hippo. The Reptile Park, Moholoholo Rehabilitation Center, the Endangered Species Center and the Panoramic Route are all worthy of a visit.

The Orpen Gate, of the world renowned, Kruger National Park is a 45 minute drive from Kudu Cottage.
Pool
A small splash pool is available and it overlooks the bush.
Garden
There is a small well maintained garden with a wooden fence that will keep you secure from the game but will not hinder your view.
Housekeeping
The Lodge will be immaculate upon your arrival, please request a daily cleaning service if you so wish, please note that there will be additional costs for this service
Cell Phone Reception
There is cell phone reception on the Estate.

Leisure Activities
In Hoedspruit Town there are good restaurants and pubs as well as 2 Spa'a for those that wish to treat themselves. We suggest that you book these ahead of time as they are well utilized by the surrounding lodges and locals alike.
Birding
There is a large variaty of bird species on the estate and a few bird-hides.
Horse Riding
There is a stable at the entrance to the Wildlife Estate: African Horse Safari's, please contact them if you wish to do one of the bush outrides.
Activities on the Estate
There are game drive routes, off-road bicycle tracks, bird hides and walking available to guests.
Braai/Barbeque

There is an outside Braai facility that would be rude not to use!
